Rivercity Players is happy to announce two workshops to be held in the new year.
First up is Introduction to Play Production. This workshop will introduce you to all the non-acting roles in a production – and there are many! From producer to set design to props – you will learn what each of these jobs involves, and how they interrelate. This workshop is perfect for those who want to be involved and don’t want to be on the stage – or for actors who want to expand their horizons! The workshop will be held Wednesday, January 11th at Rivercity Stage. Register here
Later in the month will be Introduction to the Tech Booth. This workshop will provide more information on sound and lighting, and what goes on in the tech booth. It will include an introduction to the equipment we use. It will also give our technicians an opportunity to get to know those who have expressed interest in this area, and find out what their experience and specific interests are. This workshop will be held Wednesday, January 25th at the theatre. Register here
Both events will start at 5:15 (pizza, anyone?), with the workshop itself starting at 5:30.
Absolutely no experience required! You don’t have to be a member of RCP to attend – if you have friends that may be interested, please pass on the information.
