Our mission: enriching the creative culture of the community  through the performing arts.

Updated: Nov 18, 2021

Oh, how we've missed you! Subject to Provincial Health guidelines, Rivercity Players is excited to start planning some shows! We are asking for interested directors for their interest in future shows.

The Autumn show has been chosen: The Exquisite Hour, by Canadian playwright by Stewart Lemoine. This modern one-act play has a cast of two (one male, one female) and runs approximately one hour. Reviews describe a fun romantic comedy with a twist - like drinking lemonade on a sunny day with a shot a bourbon. For copies of the play and to express your interest in directing this play please email info@rivercityplayers.ca by August 25, 2021.

We are also hoping to line up more shows for Christmas and the Spring 2022 season. If you are a director or a producer who has a show in mind, we want to hear from you. Please submit a proposal as per the attached RFP document.

Our Playreading Committee has also been busy over the last year and has a list of recommendations if any interested directors want play ideas.

Thanks everyone and we hope to welcome you back safely soon. Interested Actors and Crew members, keep your eyes open for calls for crew and auditions coming soon!
