Zone Festival

Theatre BC is divided into 10 Regional Zones that encompass the province. Each year each regional zone holds a festival (at a different club each year), normally in April-May in order to determine a ‘best of the best’ performance. We are part of the North Island Zone, which includes Nanaimo Theatre GroupPort Alberni's Portal Players Dramatic SocietyQualicum's ECHO Players Village Theatre and Courtenay Little Theatre. Our spring performance is normally the show that goes to "Festival". The winner of each Zone's Festival are invited to Mainstage.

Mainstage

The winner of each Zone Festival are invited to Mainstage to vie for best in province. This usually occurs in July, and is hosted at Kamloops. This is organized by Theatre BC.
