POTA's Wearable Art Show Returns

POTA is excited to announce that their Wearable Art Show will return this fall, and they are currently accepting artist submissions for their fabulous event. This is the major fundraiser of Patrons of the Arts (POTA), under the umbrella of the Campbell River Arts Council.

POTA is a group of individuals that share a powerful commitment to our community of Campbell River BC and the visual and performing artists that reside here. They are committed to providing opportunity, supporting, and cheering on visual and performing artists.

POTA is pulling out all the stops for this amazing fundraising gala. It will be held at the Tidemark Theatre with all the bells and whistles of professional lighting, music, theatre seating, runway into the audience, photography, filming, all supported by the wonderful Heather Gordon-Murphy as stage manager.

Entry to the show is juried, and they will be accepting up to 14 artists. If you are an interested artist, you can download the entry form below. They are looking for wearable art creations that demonstrate inspired vision and innovative use of materials and construction. Top prizes will be awarded for REMARKABLE UPCYCLING, AUDIENCE CHOICE, DEBUT, and possibly more: $500 each! Please submit your entry no later than June 15th, 2022.

The show takes place October 15th, 2022 at the Tidemark Theatre, and you will not want to miss it!
