About the event

Reconciliation Theatre Society is pleased to announce our summer tour production The Boy in the Treehouse, a powerful family theatre by Anishinaabe playwright Drew Hayden Taylor!

Please note this is a first come first served event, no reserved seating. By donation.

Director Pete Kytwayhat and a talented cast of actors bring to life the story of Simon, a young boy exploring his mixed Indigenous/settler heritage, as he embarks on a journey of cultural self-discovery alone in his treehouse. With humour, heart, and live music by Cree-Metis musician Kenneth Chalifoux, this show is perfect for the entire family. Join us on July 3rd at Rivercity Players for a celebration of Indigenous voice through the magic of theatre. Hosted by Rivercity Players Theatre.

Live music. Cultural enrichment. Family-friendly fun!
