Stage Management workshop - Jan 11th 2020

SRivercity Players Society and Shoreline Musical Theatre Society are pleased to announce that our Stage Management workshop has been rescheduled for January 11, 2020. Lynne Macara will be the facilitator. We are offering you a chance to enhance your theatrical skills and also have some fun!

The workshop will be held at Rivercity Stage from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Cost is $15.00 for members, $20.00 for non members.

For those attending please bring the following: lunch, pencil, scissors, 30 or so pages of loose leaf, a small binder and scotch tape. To register please email president@rivercityplayers.ca or call Bev at 250-923-7510.



About Lynn: 

Lynne loves to work backstage! Her first time as Stage Manager was in high school and since then she has fulfilled this role for a variety of organizations including Rivercity Players, Tidemark Theatre and Young Theatre. She has also produced/co produced a number of local productions. Over the years, she has taken a variety of courses and workshops and worked with several professional directors. Lynne is happy to share what she has learned with you!

Improv ongoing drop in classes with Gerry McAteer


Gerry has won many awards including Just for Laughs World Champion, multiple Canadian awards, and has been teaching Improv theater for many years.

Cost: $10 per drop in session

No experience is necessary and for those that attended the previous workshop don’t worry Gerry will keep it fresh you whilst also teaching the beginners.

What do you need to bring? An open mind, a good attitude, a water bottle, comfortable shoes and a laugh!
