Dear Members,
We are looking for a few last things.
We need red curtains and extra material to cover a couch.
We also need some people to help with tear down and set up.
We will be dismantling the set Saturday between 5-9 pm and loading the truck and then meeting at 10:00 am at the Tidemark on Sunday.
The first shift will be unloading and setting up till about 2 pm, then we need people to help with set dressing and painting from then until maybe 8 pm.
Would could also use another person to help with hair.
Please let me know ASAP if you can come and help out or if you have any curtains or material.

We are also looking for a large 2 seat coach/loveseat, preferrably reddish colour with an art deco 1930 or less.
Also a double bed either with a head board or without.

Dear Members,
Well I hope you are all ready for Xmas! I am going to spend Xmas with my 9 month pregnant sister, so I guess I am getting a niece for Xmas!
On behalf of Rivercity Players may I wish each of you joy and happiness for the holidays and the New Year!
We are having our first full run of Lend Me A Tenor on Sunday (Dec 20) followed by a production meeting. Rehearsal starts at 1pm so we should have the meeting around 3:30 pm.
Please come out if you are interested in helping out. There are still a couple of positions to fill and we can always use assistants. This is a great way to learn.
Remember we can always work around your schedule, and even if you can just help out for a couple of hours painting or what ever! If you can't make the meeting but still want to be involved please let me know before the meeting.

AUDITIONS! AUDITIONS!
LEND ME A TENOR by Ken Ludwig
This is a rollicking comedy about the world of Opera. Characters needed:
1 male age 55 - 60 years 3 females ages 25 - 35 years 1 female age 50 - 60 years 3 males ages 25 - 40 years
AUDITIONS 2 PM SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17th
Rehearsals will start last week in November, 2009. Show opens second week of February, 2010.

Lend Me a Tenor is the second show of the season.
This is a comedy which pokes fun at the world of opera and possesses all the classical features of a farce - mistaken identity, a chase, language difficulties, ladies in lingerie – but, this time, with a little music added. The show has proved so popular that it has been translated into twenty-two different languages. Auditions are on October 17th. The play will be directed by Bill Walton.
